Privacy Policy

What intera-roles.com collects, why, how long it is kept and who it reaches. Short version: only what you send us, only to answer you.

Updated 2026-08-23

Version 1.0

This policy explains what personal data intera-roles.com collects, why it is collected, how long it is kept and who else ever sees it. It covers this website only. It does not cover the INTERA Core software itself — see Section 9, which is the part most people are actually asking about.

1. Who is responsible

The controller of the personal data described here is SERGEY BOGDANOV, Republic of Cyprus, the licensor of INTERA Core and the operator of this website.

Contact for any question in this policy, including a request to exercise your rights: INFO@INTERA-ROLES.COM.

2. What this policy covers

It covers the website at intera-roles.com: the marketing pages, the documentation, the blog, the FAQ and the contact request form.

It does not cover:

  • the INTERA Core software once you have installed it on your own infrastructure;
  • the business data you connect INTERA to;
  • services provided under a separate written agreement, which carry their own terms;
  • third-party websites this site links to.

3. What we collect

3.1 What you send us

The contact request form asks for the following, and nothing beyond it:

  • your name;
  • your work email address;
  • your company;
  • your role;
  • your industry;
  • what brings you here;
  • the problem, in your words.

All of it is optional except the fields marked as required on the form. The last field is free text: please do not paste confidential figures, customer records or credentials into it. A description of the problem is enough — that is what we answer with.

The form is protected by a hidden field that automated submissions tend to fill in. If it is filled in, the submission is discarded and nothing is stored.

3.2 Comments

If you leave a comment on an article, we store the comment, the name and email address you gave, and your IP address. WordPress may set cookies so you do not have to re-enter your details — see the Cookie Policy.

3.3 Server logs

Our hosting provider records ordinary web-server logs: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser’s user-agent string. These exist to keep the site running and to investigate abuse, not to build a profile of you.

3.4 Documentation usage

The documentation counts how often an article is opened, so we can see which pages are unclear and fix them. This is first-party and aggregate: it is not linked to a named person.

3.5 What we do not do

  • no advertising networks and no advertising cookies;
  • no third-party analytics or tracking scripts on the marketing pages;
  • no cross-site tracking, fingerprinting or profiling;
  • no sale of personal data, ever, to anyone;
  • no automated decision-making that produces legal effects for you.

The site’s fonts, styles, scripts and images are served from intera-roles.com itself, so simply reading a page does not announce your visit to anyone else.

4. Why we collect it, and on what basis

  • To answer you. A contact request is processed to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and in our legitimate interest in replying to someone who asked us a question.
  • To run the Early Adopter programme. If you apply, we use what you told us to decide whether INTERA fits your situation and to keep the conversation going. Legitimate interest, and consent where you gave it on the form.
  • To keep the site working and secure. Server logs and spam filtering. Legitimate interest.
  • To improve the documentation. Aggregate view counts. Legitimate interest.
  • To meet legal obligations where one applies to us.

Where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time, and where we rely on legitimate interest you may object. Neither costs you anything — write to INFO@INTERA-ROLES.COM.

5. How long we keep it

  • Contact requests: for as long as the conversation is live, and for up to 24 months afterwards so that we can pick it back up. Then deleted.
  • Comments: until you or we remove them.
  • Server logs: for the period our hosting provider retains them, typically a few weeks.
  • Documentation view counts: kept as aggregate figures with no personal data attached.

Ask us to delete your request earlier and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

6. Who else sees it

Only the parties who have to, and only to do their job:

  • Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database.
  • Our email provider, which carries the notification when you submit the form and our reply back to you.
  • Our spam-filtering service, which checks submitted comments in order to reject automated spam.
  • Professional advisers or authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not hand it to anyone for their own marketing.

7. Where it is processed

The site and its data are hosted within the European Economic Area. Where a service provider processes data outside the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Ask us and we will tell you which applies to a given provider.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • ask what we hold about you and get a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have data erased;
  • have processing restricted;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what was lawful before.

Write to INFO@INTERA-ROLES.COM. We answer within one month. There is no charge.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to a supervisory authority — in Cyprus, the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection — or to the authority in the country where you live or work.

9. Your data inside INTERA itself

This is the part worth reading twice, because it is the opposite of how most tools in this category work.

INTERA Core runs on infrastructure you control. It communicates with your systems locally and processes what it reads locally. Your business data is not stored in our cloud, because there is no cloud for it to be stored in.

As a consequence, we do not receive, hold or process the data your INTERA instance reads — the finance records, the operational data, the customer information, the integration credentials. You are the controller of it. You are responsible for how your instance is deployed, secured, backed up and administered, and for having the rights and permissions needed to process what you connect it to. This is set out in the License Agreement, sections 15, 17 and 21.

If you engage us for implementation, support or hosting under a separate agreement, that agreement — not this policy — governs any access we then have.

10. Children

This site is aimed at people doing their job. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

11. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we publish the new version on this page and raise the version number at the top. Material changes are described here rather than slipped in quietly.
