INTERA can be extended with Integration. Each Integration is responsible for a specific domain within Intera. Integrations can import data from third-party systems, maintain states of Assets, trigger events, offer actions or add new widgets and other functionality. Integrations are made up of a component (basic logic) and platforms (bits that integrate with other integrations). Integrations are written in Python and can do anything that Python allows to do.
Intera comes with a lot of built-in integrations and a marketplace when you can download third-party integrations or publish your own.
